The dreaded belly. It’s bloated. Maybe it feels sore. Maybe it’s puffy. You’ve worked your butt off to try get rid of it, you’ve tried eating less, but somehow it’s still there. Maybe you’ve resigned yourself to the fact that it will always be there. Or maybe you’re still in the gym or paving the pavement trying to burn enough calories to get rid of it?

 

I’m here to tell you that things don’t need to be this way. 

A bloated belly and feeling swollen is your body’s way of telling you that something's up. And most often it’s due to your central nervous system being out of balance.

Exercising more is not going to get rid of it. In fact, it may make things worse because exercise is a form of stress and when you're under chronic stress, your body holds onto weight around your belly.

This is how we were designed to survive through stressful times! Your belly is also your emotional brain and is therefore a direct reflection of how you feel within.

If you’re fuelling yourself with negative self talk, beating yourself up for not exercising or feeling guilty for what you’ve eaten, your body will express that.

My name is Madeleine Karlsson

I am a TEDx Speaker on Intuitive Eating, a Certified Holistic Health & Nutrition Coach with an advanced certification in Emotional Eating. I hold an advanced level Pilates Instructor certification and a 200 hour Yoga & Meditation Teacher certification. I have  over 15 years experience working in the health & fitness industry helping hundreds of women (and men) get into the best shape of their lives by changing their approach to food & fitness.

I know because I've been there

I spent years feeling frustrated and upset because I thought the key to getting lean was to "exercise as much as possible" and "eat as little as possible". I was running up to 70km (43 miles) per week and doing high intensity workouts as well as hundreds of abs every day but I was still bloated. I tried eating less and counting calories, cutting out whole food groups, not eating any fat and every other diet under the sun. All it did was fuel my emotional eating and make me feel bloated and burnt out. 

But now things are different

I exercise considerably less but I focus on low impact workouts that create strength & length without stressing out the body. I exercise because I want to & I find it easy to be consistent with my workouts because they’re fun & make me feel great! I've also integrated powerful mindfulness practices that have helped me regulate my central nervous system. I'm no longer irritable, I no longer get bloated or emotionally eat.

Daily Pilates classes

Every day you will receive a workout to start your day. You can choose a workout based on your level from complete beginner to intermediate & advanced. There are also express workouts for the days when you're short on time! These workouts have been specifically designed to target the deep core muscles, to strengthen the muscles that give you a flat belly and to give you a perky butt & long, lean lines as well! No equipment needed except a mat.

Over 100 low carb anti-inflammatory recipes

Improving the quality of what you eat is essential if you want to get results. What you eat affects EVERYTHING and not getting the right fuel will make you irritable and more likely to emotionally eat. These recipes are also designed to get rid of bloating and improve your gut health. I'm sure you already believe you eat healthy but my recipes are a game changer as they have been specifically designed to nourish you with the right balance of nutrients and prevent bloating! 

Daily mindfulness practices

The reason you're not feeling well is because your central nervous system is out of balance. Learning how to regulate your central nervous system is the key to your body's healing and to you feeling your best. Over the next 30 days I will be introducing some of my favourite mindfulness practices including breathwork, meditation and tools to release anxiety to you. Frequently Asked Questions

The workouts are designed for you to do every day and last 20-50 minutes maximum. 

The workouts are pre recorded and will be released overnight so you can do them first thing in the morning, regardless of your time zone!

You will get a workout every day for 30 days but some of them are a little easier on the body than others. The intention isn't to kill you :) but to get you in the habit of rolling out your mat and making time for yourself every single morning.

Some of the recipes are vegan but not all of them. They have been specifically designed to nourish you with the best fuel while reducing inflammation. They are gluten, refined sugar and mostly dairy free.

You will have access to all the content of the program until the 30th of November :) 

After this you will get continued access by becoming a Fit Body Fresh Mind member.

You will get out of this program what you put into it. If you follow each step you can expect a huge transformation in your body and your mind as we will be addressing your wellbeing on all fronts.
